spleen*graz – an international, biannual theatre festival for young audiences – brings colourful and diverse contemporary (inter)national theater pieces for children, youth and adults to the Styrian capital of Graz.

With its contrasting spectrum of various theater forms (spoken word, dance, music or puppet theater), spleen*graz offers an exciting program that meets high quality criteria in terms of content and aesthetics on the one hand, but also experiments with unconventional approaches and addresses challenging topics on the other.

In addition to the international performances, the Next Generation programme „spleen*trieb“ gives young people the opportunity to participate in the festival. Upcoming artists create interdisciplinary crossover projects, children and teenagers explore the festival, and school groups can get creative in theatre workshops.

Dialogues, networking opportunities, concerts and many more events facilitate encounters and complement a festival for all age groups and multilayered interests.
