Performances 2025/2026
Season 2025/26 consisted of residencies at the following institutions:
1 – Segni d’infanzia / 2 – „Starke Stücke“-Festival / 3 – spleen*graz
Performances of the season 2025/2026
Mantova - Frankfurt - Graz
To illustrate the complexity and intensity of such a project, both the progress made by the working groups and the emotional reactions of individual participants were documented throughout the project’s duration. This illustrates the development over the course of the three residencies. General questions about personal development, expectations, and group work complement the visualized studies to create a comprehensive picture.
M.M.
A monster meeting is a visual project born naturally from my path inside the group ETR with the aim of showing all the complexities we faced in the artistic process. Bit by bit I was more an observer of the development of each group and I started trying to find a “fil rouge “ between the projects. Observing the group I could feel that they were living with a lot of emotions. So I started visualising all these emotions into monsters, as little creatures that you meet inside and outside of yourself. I chose to draw monsters because they have no rules and so emotions.
But sometimes emotions hide and sometimes you hide emotions.
You are gonna have a list of all the hidden monsters and you are gonna play monster hunt inside TaO!
You are officially invited to the monster meeting!
Welcome to the Nevernest
The EggXIT THE ROOM (ETR) project explores the power of imagination. Here, participants created a space where forgotten thoughts and lost images can resurface — like shadows cast by light.
The collective body
is a project exploring how multiple individuals can meet in a shared space and experience themselves as one. Over the past six months, 8 participants of the ETR project investigated sound and movement though exercises and mutual observation, using them as activators of collective unity.
When do you feel comfortable? When do you feel uncomfortable?
In this project, two participants from EXIT THE ROOM (ETR) and two young people aged 13 and 14 explore the feeling of discomfort. Through working with sensory impressions and personal experiences, a shared mosaic is being created to investigate what discomfort can be and how it can be dealt with.
Fri Fra Freude
Joyfulness.
A performance about the quality and strength of joy.
Is joy political? What does it truly feel like? And where does it live?
This performance was created through a collaborative process between six participants of the EXIT THE ROOM (ETR) project and five performers aged 10 to 13 from Theater am Ortweinplatz.
